Investing In Brazilian Pyrolysis Plants

Brazil is the world’s seventh most populous country, with well over 200 million citizens. As the population grows so does spending – and much of that spending is on consumer goods that either are made with a variety of plastics – or have wrapping that is made from petroleum derived plastic products.

Once the feedstock has been sourced it is transported to the pyrolysis operation. The feedstock in the kiln is subject to a low oxygen environment and temperatures that will typically range from 200-400℃. The pyrolysis process results in the production of oil gas, which then is cooled to produce fuel oil. This oil is then stored in a storage tank for sale and distribution.

The pyrolysis process is entirely self-contained and potential environmental damage from its operation is minimized. The fact that the gas produced can also be sued to power many of the plant operations adds to the attraction of an investment in a pyrolysis plant.
